About SES Consulting Engineers

Founded in 1993, SES Consulting Engineers has spent more than three decades providing structural engineering analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and Structural PE certification documentation for manufacturing and industrial operations across North America.

What began as a small structural engineering practice has evolved into a specialized engineering team focused on helping a diverse range of companies ensure that the equipment supporting their production lines operates safely, accurately, and efficiently.

SES serves clients that design and manufacture a wide variety of equipment, including overhead cranes, below-the-hook lifting devices, automotive assembly tooling, structural platforms, robot risers, and custom fixtures.

Every project undertaken by SES undergoes an extensive verification process to ensure compliance with applicable national codes and standards. When required, certification documentation is reviewed and stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), providing clients with confidence in the safety, reliability, and compliance of their equipment and structures.

An existing bridge crane needed structural verification before returning to service. SES performed a static FEA and issued a PE-stamped certification package confirming the system's load rating.

Jib Crane with Custom Lift Fixture (Cranes & Overhead Lifting Systems)

A facility needed a jib crane paired with a custom lifting fixture for a specific part geometry. SES analyzed both the crane structure and the fixture, then delivered stamped drawings and certification for the complete system.
